Using Google Credentials to Access Office365, SharePoint, and BlackBoard

I had the chance  do some interesting federation work for a university in Mexico. We did a proof-of-concept where we used social credentials to authenticate to Office365, SharePoint 2013, and BlackBoard LMS. We used a combination of NetIQ Social Access, NetIQ Access Manager, and ADFS2 to pull this off. We could have done it without ADFS but we wanted to demonstrate interoperability. It’s important to note that the federation to Office365 was done without ADFS since you often hear that ADFS is required.  The movies below show how it worked once the user was redirected to the Social Access appliance.
