Privacy Policy

Inventori Home ("the App") is developed by PointBlue Technology. This policy describes how the App handles your data. The short version: your data is yours, and we never see it.
Data Collection
Inventori Home does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with us or any third party. We have no servers, no analytics, and no tracking.
Data Storage
All data you enter into the App — including item details, photos, receipts, and settings — is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, your data is also synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework.
- Local storage: Item data is stored in a SwiftData database on your device. Photos and receipts are saved as files in the App's private storage area.
- iCloud sync: If enabled, your data syncs across your devices through your personal iCloud account. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
We do not have access to your iCloud account or any data stored within it.
Camera and Photo Library
The App may request access to your device's camera and photo library to let you:
- Take photos of your items and receipts
- Choose existing photos from your library
- Scan barcodes and QR codes
Photos are stored locally on your device (and in iCloud if sync is enabled). They are never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.
Notifications
The App may request permission to send local notifications for the optional annual inventory review reminder. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No data is sent anywhere.
Third-Party Services
Inventori Home does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is Apple's CloudKit for optional iCloud sync, which is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the App does not collect any personal data from any user, it is compliant with COPPA and similar regulations.
Data Deletion
Since all data is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account, you have full control over it:
- Delete individual items: Use the delete function within the App.
- Delete all data: Delete the App from your device. To also remove iCloud data, go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage and remove the Inventori Home data.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Since the App collects no data, significant changes are unlikely.
